What Happens Before a Retort System Leaves DTS Factory?
When a customer places an order for a retort system, the project does not end when the equipment is manufactured.
Before delivery, every DTS retort system goes through a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at our factory. This is an important step to make sure the equipment is ready for the customer's production before shipment.
During the FAT process, our engineering team checks the overall operation of the system, tests key functions, and confirms that the equipment meets the customer's requirements.
For customized projects, this step becomes even more important. Every food product is different. Different packaging, production processes, and capacity requirements may require different solutions. Through FAT, customers can communicate directly with our engineers, understand how the equipment works, and confirm the details before installation.
For example, for a customized retort project, our team works together with customers during FAT to review equipment performance and make sure everything is prepared for the next stage—installation and commissioning at the customer's factory.
At DTS, we believe successful projects are built through communication and preparation. From understanding customer needs, designing the right solution, manufacturing the equipment, to testing before delivery, every step is part of our commitment to reliable thermal processing solutions.
A retort system is not just a machine. It is an important part of a customer's production line, and our goal is to help customers start production with confidence.
